Opened in its current location in 1964, The
Ulster Museum in Belfast has recently undergone a £12 million
refurbishment. Home to collections of fine art, natural history,
botany, zoology and archaeology, including treasures of the Spanish
Armada and an Egyptian Mummy, this impressive
museum is sure to suit those with a wide range of
interests and tastes.

through history in 178 acres landscaped park in the Ulster Folk and
Transport Museum. You will explore a typical rural town as it would
have been in 1900 with its charming houses, farms, banks, pub,
shops, schoolhouses, rectory and silent cinema. You will be greeted
by a costumed visitor guide who will escort you to the Old Rectory
to enjoy some light refreshments before being taken on a guided
tour of the key exhibit buildings.
As part of your tour you will have the opportunity to learn
traditional crafts such as fire baking soda bread, basket weaving
and rag rug making. You will stop at McCuskers pub for whiskey or
Guinness tasting and enjoy traditional story telling. You will
finish your tour with a pony and trap ride out to the rural area
before stopping at the corner shop for a quarter of sweets for the
journey home.
